Course Information

Kit

On our climbing courses we supply all technical and safety equipment.  You will need to bring suitable clothing, food and drink for the day.  On some courses it is assumed you may have your own equipment, you are free to use this so long as it meets our safety standards.

Our winter courses may require the hiring of some specialist kit if you do not own it, namely crampons, boots and ice axes, so there may be additional cost here. We will send out kit lists on booking.

Accommodation

All courses are non-residential, leaving you flexibility as to where to stay, cutting down on course costs. We can recommend a variety of accommodation options if you require. We need a minimum number of attendees to be able to run some courses, and similarly have a maximum number, so book well ahead to avoid disappointment.

Payment & Booking

Payment is taken via PayPal, bank transfer or cash.  Upon booking we can generate an invoice/receipt for you.  A 50% deposit will be taken on booking and the full payment due 2 weeks before the start day of the course.

Any course can be created bespoke for you so if you can’t see quite what you’re after, let us know. Kit lists, medical declaration and personal info forms will be sent out on booking. We can only take under 18’s with an accompanying paying parent/legal guardian.

Safety

Whilst every effort will be taken to ensure participants safety on our courses, it must be understood that our activities always contain an element of risk that is beyond our control.  We have an exemplary safety record, and this is gained through not only our training and expertise, but through your co-operation and involvement in the risk assessment and management process during our courses.

We are fully insured with Public Liability cover, however you may wish to take out your own specialist travel insurance to cover yourself. Check out the BMC’s excellent insurance here..
